X10 BOOST, BETTER SENSATIONS IN THE X10 BOOST.
At Mendiz we incorporate all the latest technological advances into our bikes.
The X10 boost has the same features as the X10, but is now stiffer, safer and more efficient. The boost system has wider front and rear wheel axles. The pressure compensation between wheels and rims is higher and turns a 29" wheel into a much stiffer wheel. Lateral torsional stiffness is significantly reduced, improving acceleration and cornering performance.
THE X10 BOOST INCORPORATES IMPORTANT CHANGES
The chainstays and rear stays are wider, to accommodate a wheel with a 148mm hub width instead of 142mm. The crank axle is also wider, because as the sprockets move towards the outside of the bike, the crankset must also do so, avoiding excessive chain crossing. The front fork also has to be specific to the 110 mm hub width instead of 100 mm. In the X10 boost you will now find the perfect balance between cost and performance.

It undergoes special heat treatment methods to minimise the deformation caused by rapid cooling of the water. The tubes are cut by laser, giving a seamless transition making it hard to tell whether the frame is aluminium or carbon.
Triple butting is still our best option to offer strong and very lightweight aluminium frames. We apply thicker aluminium where the frame needs extra reinforcement and thinner aluminium in the sections of the tube where there is no risk of stress to the material. All our frames are checked one by one after painting, to ensure their alignment is not altered in any way.
