Mendiz collaborating with the Cycling Federation of Biscay

During the 2022-2023 season, Mendiz will be collaborating with the Biscayan Cycling Federation, with the aim of promoting this sport and the gravel/cyclocross disciplines among the youngest cyclists.

We believe that instilling in young people a passion for cycling and the values that this sport brings to everyone is essential. At Mendiz, we have collaborated with this initiative by providing our G4 gravel bikes to the Biscayan Cycling Federation.

In this way, students enrolled in the different cycling schools in Vizcaya can improve their technique and train cyclo-cross, a modality that is becoming increasingly popular among their ranks. In addition, the cycling spirit among the youngest cyclists is maintained by avoiding the winter break for the MBT and road calendars.

This initiative has given rise to the Txiki Copa Mendiz, a project aimed at promoting competition and passion among the youngest categories: infants, juveniles, juniors, children and cadets in training.

The Txiki Copa Mendiz consists of a total of 6 races, organised in 6 different locations in Vizcaya during the months of October, November and December.

From our house, we hope that the new generations will soak up the passion for this sport that unites us cyclists, and that they will be able to improve their skills and technique on a Mendiz, which fill us with pride.
