Mendiz teams in MTB 21-22

As is the case with partnerships with road cycling teams, Mendiz couldn’t miss the associations side by side with professional MTB cycling. In this case, and talking about cycling teams, we are proud to count on Irontech-Tecnic-Mendiz-Ambisist.

This team based in Catalunya, specifically in province of Girona, owes its foundation to the well-known BTT Fornells club, an organization focused on MTB cycling. This club has with 2 teams, Enduro and UCI team. This last one is the one that concern us in this blog entry: Team Irontech.

The UCI team consists of 7 riders, belonging to the U23 category, except for 2 of them, who compete in junior and elite class respectively. Most of them are from Catalunya.

In this 21-22 season, the boys in blue have faced several important races, such as Copa Catalana or Open de España. Besides, these riders have taken part in international races like the World Cup in Albstadt, Nove Mesto and Leogang. The team has a strong foundation, and they have been able to show other MTB teams that they compete in the highest level.

Irontech trains and competes with the Mendiz X40, a double-carbon designed for XC and the most demanding terrains.

On the other hand, in Mendiz we also have individual runners who have accumulated victories and have demonstrate their skill and made a name for themselves in the MTB scenario.

We count on Patxi Cía, native rider from Pamplona who has made his space in the most demanding races, and whose hard work and dedication have paid off in victories and titles

Veteran of the cycling scene who has been at the top of the mtb scene for more than decade, the rider from Pamplona has a harvest of titles that make him a national and international icon in MTB: double title of European champion in XCO and XCM in masters 40, Spanish champion, World champion… Through hard work and effort, the Navarre native has made his mark both nationally and internationally.

Patxi Cía rides proudly is X40 too. Despite of it, our champion, a hardtail lover, also rides the Mendiz X21SL. A carbon hardtail light model, that Patxi loves to nickname “missile” or “X21 super-fast”

Along with Patxi Cía and his mountain bike models, we have with us Martín Mata, a rider born in Burgos who has had a career in both road and mountain. In fact, between 2006 and 2008, Martin competed on the road at a professional level, a discipline that he still practices and enjoys today.

Despite this, at Mendiz we are proud of Martin's MTB profile, a profile that he exploits to the maximum with the Mendiz X40, our double carbon model.

In his YouTube, channel, our rider publishes videos of different kinds: routes he makes, summary of races in which he will participate or has participated, reviews of bike models and components ... In fact, Martin uploaded a video about the X40 model, commenting on the technical aspects, the benefits and different sensations when riding our double.

All this with a familiar and relaxed touch, capturing the attention of his followers and maintaining a great balance between professionalism, passion for what he does and a dose of humor.
